Happy New Year and Merry Christmas!

Dear friends and colleagues,  on behalf of the Seafarers' Union of Russia and on my own behalf, I congratulate you on the New Year and Christmas!

The upcoming holidays hold a special place in our hearts. New Year's Eve is not only a reason to open a new page in your life, but also an opportunity to remember and rethink the past year, its happy and tense moments. The year has indeed been challenging: the long-running sanctions continue to affect each of us. However, the Seafarers' Union of Russia has never given up, and we have a lot to be proud of: we have been able to provide support to most of those who applied for help. The Seafarers' Union of Russian is a reliable rear, support and protection for each SUR member. We will continue to do our best to ensure the work of seafarers is protected and fairly paid, so that each maritime fleet worker can carry out his duties quietly and happily without worrying about any problems.

May all hassles and challenges be left behind in the outgoing year, and may the future give us more causes for rejoicing and amaze us with good news and pleasant surprises. Now, when the streets of many cities are beautifully and brightly decorated, and festive bustle is everywhere, it's time to forget about the hardships and enjoy being together with your loved ones, make inspiring plans for the future, and just have a rest.  For those who are at work during this holiday time, I wish to return home soon - to your family and loved ones.

Wherever you are, please, accept my sincere congratulations on the upcoming New Year and Merry Christmas! Believe in miracles, dream, and may all your wishes come true in 2025! And I wish you peace and harmony, bright and good changes, health and simple human happiness.

SUR President Yury Sukhorukov
