During the work of the Council, Chairman of the Audit Commission Vladimir Rafalsky provided the attendants information on review of the SUR financial and operational activities, SUR Vice Chairman Igor Pavlov told about the SUR organizations' statistical accounting and administration of budget of the trade union for the 2023.
Chairmen of the SUR primary and territorial organizations Alexey Belyakov, Alexander Bodnya, Leonid Glushak, Alexander Krasnoshtan, Nikolay Popov, Nikolay Sukhanov reported on how do things stand in their organizations.
Artem Boev, Coordinator of the SUR Youth Council, briefed those present on how the work on a sustainable just transition in the maritime industry is progressing. Sergey Fishov delivered the report on the performance of the SUR Technical Labor Inspectorate.
SUR First Vice Chairman Igor Kovalchuk informed the members of the Council about the implementation of previously approved resolutions of the SUR Council and about the SUR's action plan for the current 2024 year.
Summing up the three-day work of the Council, the SUR Chairman Yury Sukhorukov noted that despite the current challenges, SUR carries on its work and continues to prioritize a care for the seafarers – SUR members. To assist everyone who applies for help is an unbreakable rule that SUR has been following for more than three decades since its setting up. The next meeting of the Council is scheduled for November 2024.
