The captain was awarded "The SUR Badge of Honor"

The Southern Territorial Organization of the Seafarers' Union of Russia held the third and the final in 2023 awarding of the corporate badge of the Seafarers' Union of Russia. “The SUR Badge of Honor” was handed to Vladimir Akopdzhanov, the captain of the SCF Group's tanker Leonid Loza.

According to SUR Local Trade Union Organization of the NOVOSHIP UK Shipping Company, Vladimir Akopdzhanov began his career in the Maritime Fleet in 2000. His first voyage in a position of a captain was in 2013 on board the tanker Moscow Stars. The total work experience on board SCF Group vessels is about 23 years.

-The company describes the captain as a highly qualified specialist, a diligent and hard-working officer with a high level of leadership skills, - the trade union committee added. - He is a perfect professional and pays great attention to training young seafarers.

Earlier, at the appeal of SUR Local Trade Union Organization of the NOVOSHIP UK Shipping Company and by decision of the SUR Council, the SCF Group captains from Novorossiysk Andrey Golovchenko and Kirill Karapetyants were awarded "The SUR Badge of Honor".
