Happy New Year and Merry Christmas!

Dear friends and colleagues, on behalf of the Seafarers' Union of Russia, I congratulate you, your family and friends on the upcoming holidays - New Year and Merry Christmas! 

Very soon, the chimes will announce the year 2023 is over. Another year of intense work will remain behind. All that time, as before, the Seafarers' Union of Russia supported maritime workers in addressing issues they faced on the spots: problems with repatriation, back pays, ensuring safe working conditions on board vessels and the well-being of SUR members' families.

What the next year will be like depends largely on us – on faith in our strengths and commitment to fight for our rights and interests, on willingness to live and work in better conditions. For our part, we will make every effort to ensure that SUR members feel confident and protected, have opportunities for personal growth and personal fulfillment, so that they enjoy working at sea.

On the eve of these bright family holidays - New Year and Christmas - I wish you peace and harmony, happy and positive changes, good health and simple human happiness. With all my heart I wish you all to pass through ordeals, if they befall you, with honor and dignity. Let all your boldest ideas prosper and your inmost desires come true!
