Happy New Year and Merry Christmas!

Dear friends and colleagues,

please, accept our warm and sincere congratulations on the upcoming holidays - New Year and Merry Christmas - on behalf of the Seafarers' Union of Russia !

Another year of intense and hard work is behind. The Seafarers' Union of Russia, as always, supported maritime workers and assisted in addressing problems they faced locally. We sought reliable social guarantees and decent wages, as well as respect for the rights of seafarers шт tines of increasing crisis. We keep assisting  seafarers with repatriation, backwages, safe working conditions on board and the wellbeing of union members' families.

The next year does not promise to be easy, but the SUR will continue to ensure that the work of seafarers is protected and highly paid. We enter 2023 with renewed vigour and a great desire to do our utmost to safeguard  the maritime industry workers welfare! 

We will make every effort to ensure that seafarers work in decent employment conditions, and their families feel steadfast and secure.

I wholeheartedly want to thank all SUR members for trusting us the protection of their labor rights, for their loyalty to a strong maritime brotherhood, because success directly depends on our unity and solidarity. I hope that you will celebrate New Year's chime with loved ones or like-minded people, whether they are  family or crewmates.
