Second collective agreement was signed

The ITF inspection in Kaliningrad has signed a collective agreement in favor of the Kaliningrad’s seafarers. This is the second agreement in four months with the Cyprus company Acheon Akti Navigation. The first was signed on November 2, 2020 on the ship Beluga Reefer (IMO 9015204, flag of the Bahamas). It guarantees reliable protection to 22 Russian seafarers. The second agreement is valid for 15 crewmembers, residents of Kaliningrad, working on board the m/v Esl America (IMO 9347035, flag of Cyprus).

«According to the terms, 37 jobs on board are covered by an agreement, where the rate of an AB is at least $ 1806.  Other conditions, from the amount of death  compensation to the conditions for the application of the  «Pirate Clause», when the salary is paid and in the case of capture, also meet the requirements of the ITF. We thank the representative office of the company Acheon Akti Navigation in Kaliningrad for the social responsibility shown towards our seafarers»,- says Vadim Mamontov, an ITF inspector in the port of Kaliningrad.
