Ceremony of retirement on pension of the SCF seafarers in Vladivostok

SCF Unicom-Vladivostok and the Pacific trade union organization of the Seafarers Union of Russia held the ceremony of retirement of the veterans. The shipping company parted with six specialists. By tradition, they received one-time financial assistance, letters of thanks and gifts as it provided by a joint social program developed by the trade union and the employer to support employees who retire after the work for the company.

According to Valery Berezinskiy, Chairman of the TPO SUR, the coronavirus pandemic made its own adjustments to the event, so the ceremony was not as official as usual. Nevertheless, the meeting still turned out to be heartfelt.

«Unfortunately, not everyone was able to attend.  Out of six seafarers, only 3 could visit the trade Union office.  Besides we had to observe additional security measures and congratulate only the seafarers though normally they used to come with their families. We warmly said goodbye to the three specialists, and, of course, they received many kind words and thanks for their many years of honest work. Those who could not attend the event will receive their gifts and certificates of honor, but a little later»,- mentioned Valery Berezinskiy

We add that the event was also attended by the first Deputy Chairman of the SUR Igor Kovalchuk and the Chairman of the Pacific regional organization of the SUR Nikolay Zadoyanov.
