Crew members of the "TRAVETAL" managed "to go for a walk" in Germany

Everything is OK onboard  the vessel "TRAVETAL" (IMO 9471991, flag of Cyprus, built 2008), according to Inspectors of SUR Kaliningrad Territorial Organization  (SUR KTO), who recently visited the vessel: the crew is friendly, the terms of the collective agreement are observed and even problems with repatriation do not exist  - the ship is operating  in the European region, where the process  presents fewer difficulties.

“The crew welcomed us on board and shared the good news that in Germany they managed to go ashore and even go out into the city. Of course, such news are encouraging”, - said Lyudmila Izmalkova, SUR KTO Labor Inspector.

The small ship is owned by the German company "Held Bereederungs GmbH & Co.KG", the vessel is covered by the Ver.di Collective Agreement. The crew  - five Russians, two Ukrainians and one citizen of Cape Verde - have been working for the company for a long time and are satisfied with the conditions ensured by the shipowner ...  AB Seaman salary is  USD1461, there are neither backwages  nor complaints, the vessel is in good  technical condition.
