The crew of the m/v Beata is pleased with the job

The other day representatives of the Kaliningrad regional organization of the Seafarers Union of Russia visited a vessel Beata (IMO 9053828) flying the flag of the second register of Portugal. On board they were met by an international crew consisted of Latvians, Estonians, Lithuanians and Russians.

The m/v Beata arrived from Sweden loaded by the gravel. According to the crew they are very satisfied with their work and payment so there are no complaints about the conditions on board. This was confirmed by the inspector of labor of the KRO SUR Lyudmila Izmalkova.

She said that the vessel is covered by the ITF collective agreement, the basic rate of AB is 1480 euros, the cadet - 500 euros. In addition the inspector noted that despite the fact that the ship is already 26 years old there are no complaints about the technical condition of Beata.There are six Russian seafarers on board from St. Petersburg and Petrozavodsk, two of them are members of the Seafarers Union of Russia.
