The crew of m/v Litsa received their outstanding wages

A crew member of the dry cargo vessel  Litsa owned by Tarron Sea Line (flag of Cameroon), applied to the  ITF Inspector in Novorossiysk office. He complained about growing salary debts and told that other crew members had problems with payments either. The Inspector contacted the PSC representatives, who were on board the dry cargo vessel at that very moment. Thanks to the timely intervention the seafarer's outstanding wages were paid off in a short time frame.

PSC officers cleared out a fairness of the claims and  drew up an order, on the basis of which the shipowner had to pay off the debts to the crew. Till that moment the dry cargo vessel was not allowed to leave Novorossiysk.

The shipowner did not think for a long time and within a couple of days he paid the crew in full. The ban was lifted and the m/v/ Litsa sailed to her next port of destination. And the crew  thanked the representatives of the trade union and PSC for their help and personal commitment.
