The winners of the photo contest «I/We are key employees» were awarded prizes

So, during the presentation ceremony held in Novorossiysk, the participants received well-deserved prizes, certificates of honor and memorable gifts. The winner of the competition, a young Ch. Officer serving for CSM, Dmitry Bardovskiy, the author of the photo «Cape Tampa’s Crew», became the owner of a modern smartphone from Apple. Electrician Andrey Deev and 3rd mate Sergey Tykul (both work on ships of the SCF group of companies), received external batteries. All prize-winners from Novorossiysk were also presented with photo booklets, which included the best images of the competition.

«The victory was very unexpected for me. I sent several photos, including my favorite, with a lightening. And the photo of our crew on Cape Tampa taken when the vessel was passing Caribbean, won the competition. I even remember how we made it: at the end of the working day, the whole crew was in a good mood, the captain was also on deck, and we decided to capture our entire deck crew for memory. As a result, a very cheerful photo filled with emotions came out. This is the atmosphere I try to maintain at work», - D. Bardovsky noted.

«Seafarers from all over Russia participated in the photo contest, and it is especially pleasant that five of our Novorossiysk citizens became prize-winners. The laureates spoke about the huge impact of the pandemic on the shipping industry. «Of course, it is difficult to work without going ashore. There are problems in the Asian region as the rules are constantly changing there, so it is very difficult to sign off. In addition to the difficult situation with COVID-19, politics periodically interferes with the work. So, now it is impossible for Russian seafarers to get an American visa, for this they have to go to Poland otherwise the change is not allowed in the USA. Taking in mind the restrictions on international flights, this is a serious problem», - the sailors noted.
