Four years of promises

The SUR Azov and Don Territorial Organization (SUR ADTO) helped  a seafarer's widow to return his wage debt, which  the SailTrade company couldn't pay  since 2014, said Leonid Glushak, the chairman  at the SUR ADTO.

Thus, the employer was in  a  two-month wage hock to captain Dmitrienko I.S. The  sum of debt was USD 2,000. For a long time the seafarer believed in the employer's promises  and had been waiting for   the payment. But he died suddenly in 2016. His wife Olga Dmitrienko had to resolve  the issue of   recovering  money due. Finally, the woman decided  to ask for help from the Seafarers' Union after she didn't get from  SailTrade any  money  honestly earned by the captain.

“Although SailTrade had shown itself as  a not well-decent  company and it were included in the union black list  in 2017, we settled the  situation very quickly. The most important  that Olga Dmitrienko got money”, said Leonid Glushak. “We are always glad to help and get in return the sincere word of thanks”
