SUR received a letter from a wife of a chief engineer from m/v «Arklow Resolve». «Many thanks for your support in my receiving of outstanding wages», – the letter addressed to Nikolay Sukhanov, the president of Far Eastern branch of SUR, says.

The woman applied to SUR as her husband hadn’t received his wages for a period since the end of July till the middle of August 2012. He had to be paid 4 200 euro in total.

The seafarer’s wife got in touch with the crew agency in Odessa hiring personnel, and they said it was the ship-owner, who froze the sum. The woman would call to the company but the situation remained, and at long last she decided to apply to SUR.

With the efforts of SUR the seafarer was lucky to receive his wages and his wife wrote about it to the press-service of SUR.
